2nd one for today.
am waiting for the students to get themselves done with the religious talks and Isya' prayer for i have a mission tonite.am not on duty but being a warden means 24/7 on-call with a lil' complimentary allowance.well yes, am gonna meet the students to give a briefing on the cleanliness check-ups that gonna start tmrw.and need to remind them to leave the hostel at least by 6.50a.m.
would they?
i still remember when i was in Faris, we students by all means have to pass the gate at least 6.50 sharp so that our names won't be put in the detention list.no wardens in charge.just the prefect who were doing their works so perfectly.we seldomly came across our beloved Cikgu Paridah (the warden) yet we were AFRAID of going against the rules.let alone lovey-dovey dating under the tree thingys.nobody dared to do that.just by seeing the naqib-naqibah from afar would leave us speechless.lights-off at 11.30pm without fail, as 10 minutes before that, we all need to gather in a halaqah in the dorm to recite Al-Mulk.did i tell u at what time we came back from prep? it was 10.45.so we had approximately 30 minutes to walk from the prep class to the hostel, had supper, pack the books for the next day, get our school uniforms ironed, and, everything!well.. those were the days..
i've repeated the schedule for 5 good years.
and today, i'm trapped in the situation again.the only difference is my position.how jealous i am at Cikgu Paridah.i think her job long time ago must be easier than what i am facing rite now.
by any chance u are reading this, cikgu,
please know that i am really thankful for the life's lesson that u have taught us (me and the iconic friends) and can u please forgive me?i mean, for everything.
